For this downtown Manhattan dining room, our client wanted a space that felt joyful, artistic and intentionally eclectic. We anchored the dining room with a classic walnut table and sculptural vintage chairs upholstered in a rich ochre velvet, creating warmth and contrast against clean off-white walls. The abstract artwork, bold in scale and brushwork, sets the tone, creating a visual dialogue with the striped placemats and ombré taper candles. Sculptural accessories and organic shapes add a sense of movement and play, while the off-white walls and clean lines keep the space feeling fresh and modern. The final composition strikes a balance between curated and casual, where bold color meets thoughtful restraint.
